Call the Wizards is a charming, challenging VR tower defense game in which you summon elemental wizards to defend against waves of monsters. It is a fast-paced puzzle-action adventure that puts the power of magic in your hands.

Background

Following the release of Unstung and Moon Slime, solo developer Shaun Norton set out to create a deeper tower defense game that takes the best parts of Plants vs Zombies, Bloons TD and Kingdom Rush, and adds a unique twist on the genre. From the beginning, the mood and atmosphere he wanted to evoke was that of a magical creep-crushing factory - something akin to The Sorceror's Apprentice scene from Disney's Fantasia, but also reminiscent of setting up elaborate systems in Minecraft or Factorio.

After a year in development, Call the Wizards answers the question: what would it be like to control a little army of wizards in VR?
